Attorney Allison Williard is an experienced employment attorney who represents individuals and employers in a wide range of workplace matters. Allison advises clients on everyday employment issues; drafts and negotiates noncompetition, nonsolicitation, and confidentiality agreements; and litigates discrimination, retaliation, and other employment claims in state and federal court. She also counsels executives and senior professionals through career transitions and corporate mergers and acquisitions, including negotiating employment, severance, and related agreements. Her experience representing both individuals and employers provides balanced insight that enables her to anticipate challenges and deliver practical, results-driven solutions that protect her clients’ interests.
Allison currently serves as the President of the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association (MELA), an organization of attorneys committed to advancing and protecting employee rights throughout the Commonwealth. In this leadership role, she helps guide MELA’s legislative initiatives and supports efforts to strengthen workplace fairness and equity across Massachusetts. Allison is also an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, and she is a regular panelist of Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) seminars and conferences.
Prior to joining Washienko Law Group, LLC, Allison served as in-house counsel at a staffing agency, where she advised management on a variety of employment-related matters, including compliance and employee relations, and drafted and negotiated business and employment contracts.
Allison earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, where she was named to the Dean’s List from 2011 to 2015, received the Best Oral Advocate Award, and was honored with the Suffolk University Jurisprudence Awards in Constitutional Law and Securities Law. She earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Northeastern University.
She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
